BCOverheadAgent Releases
Download the latest BCOverheadAgent installer. Updates are pull-based — when a new version ships, come back here, download the new installer, and run it. Your data, license, and settings carry over.
Latest release — v1.3.2 (2026-07-09)
The Push button tooltip now shows when each rate was last pushed to QuickBooks.
How updates work
Updates are pull-based. BCOverheadAgent does not auto-update from inside the application. When a new version is available, this page is updated; you download the new installer and run it on top of your existing install.
Reinstalling preserves your data. Your QuickBooks connection, license activation, EULA acceptance, onboarding completion, and database all live in %APPDATA%\BCOverheadAgent\. The installer leaves that directory untouched, so a fresh install picks up exactly where the previous version left off.
Your database is auto-backed-up before any schema migration. If a new release includes a database migration, BCOA creates a timestamped .bak snapshot in %APPDATA%\BCOverheadAgent\backups\ before applying it. If anything goes wrong, copy the most recent .bak back over bc_overhead_agent.db to recover.
Older releases
- v1.3.1 (2026-06-26) — Fix: the AI Change Log's "unreviewed AI changes" indicator now clears when you revert an AI change — previously it stayed lit after a revert. No other changes.
- v1.3.0 (2026-06-25) — New: ask your AI assistant about employee burden and update raw wages by conversation. BCOA now exposes per-employee raw wage and the full burden breakdown to Claude Desktop (read-only), and adds an AI wage-update tool — every AI change is logged in a new in-app AI Change Log you can review and one-click revert. QuickBooks push stays manual as always. Also fixes an employee-detail lookup error when some employees had no wage entered.
- v1.2.0 (2026-06-24) — Adds MCP integration — connect Claude Desktop or other AI assistants to query your overhead, rates, and forecast read-only (Help → Connect an AI assistant). 9 read-only tools incl. a live burden-rate forecast.
- v1.1.5 (2026-06-08) — Only overhead-classified employees route into the rate-computation pool; corrects the pool total and the rates that depend on it. Also smooths the startup splash so it stays steady through launch.
- v1.1.4 (2026-06-02) — Overhead tab now scrolls on smaller screens and keeps the account line-item list at a readable size, so all sections stay reachable.
- v1.1.3 (2026-06-01) — Manual overhead entries now flow into the rate-computation pool as current standing costs — add, edit, or remove entries and the pool updates immediately, regardless of the last P&L pull period.
- v1.1.2 (2026-06-01) — Fixed manual-overhead entries not flowing into the rate-computation pool, improved Dashboard readability on smaller screens.
- v1.1.1 (2026-05-22) — Forecast architectural rewrite + attestation unification. Per-month actuals replace snapshot-based training, unified wizard + Re-attest write path drives forecast floor, read-layer enforcement protects subcontractor rates non-destructively, Overhead $ relabeled (estimated).
- v1.1.0 (2026-05-17) — Initial commercial release. Davis-Bacon compliance, four-tag employee classification, sub-pool absorption, EULA + onboarding wizard, license activation.
